The Five Essential Elements
of the Gospel

Many people confuse sharing the whole Gospel with planting a seed. When sharing the gospel, these elements should all be present for the complete message. Missing any element means you're not sharing the whole gospel, although the seed you plant can still be a blessing, the goal should be to share the whole gospel with the whole world.

1. Sonship/Divinity of Christ

Other religions will say Jesus existed, that he's a prophet or holy man, but they won't say he's the Son of God and divine. It's essential to distinguish that Jesus was God's son.

2. Death, Burial & Resurrection

Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins. You must tell them Jesus actually died on the cross for them, was buried, and rose again. This is foundational.

3. Repentance

It's not enough to just believe. You need to repent - turn around and follow Jesus. Faith without works is dead.

4. Lordship

Jesus must become your Lord. He becomes the King and you follow Him. This isn't just about saying a prayer - it's about lifestyle transformation.

5. New Creation & New Spirit

Jesus doesn't just save you from sin - He makes you into a new creation with a new spirit. You're saved into a mission and family, not a waiting room for heaven.

The Prayer Problem
There is no "sinners prayer" in the Bible. Prayers don't save people. Jesus never said "pray a prayer" - He said "follow me." Don't just count decisions, look for genuine transformation. A real salvation produces a changed life, not just a repeated prayer.
